A second language is not a plugin

Most systems bolt the second language onto the first, which is why it’s always the Welsh form that breaks and the error that arrives in English. We build both as first languages.

On your site, no Welsh page goes live until a person has approved it, separately from the English.

What that means

Both languages, all the way down

  • Each language has its own address, /en and /cy, not a query string
  • Navigation, forms, errors and emails in the language the visitor chose
  • Metadata and structured data in both, so AI can read either
  • Neither language is the fallback for the other

Where we draw the line

When a provider has no Welsh, we say so

Where a payment or email provider can’t carry Welsh, we own the interface around it and record which parts of the journey it can’t cover. Stripe Checkout supports 34 languages. Welsh isn’t one of them; Maltese is.

Give AI a reason to say your name.

We’re in pilot, taking a limited number of updates, and we’ll tell you honestly if yours isn’t a good fit.
